Hjertoos FarmDon’t forget about the annual Harvest Celebration Farm Tour this weekend! Come out and enjoy the fresh produce, beautiful scenery and fun family activities. Be sure to stop at the at Carnation Tree Farm/Hjertoos Farm, one of the many historic farmsteads participating this year, for a tour of the property and some of their delicious apple cider. I will be there helping out with the cider production, so come say “hi” and get your very own copy of the Agricultural Destination Heritage guide. With over 20 farms spread across the county participating in this annual autumn event, there will be plenty to see and do. For more information about the tour, including a list of participating farms, visit the WSU King County Extensions program events page.
