Sustained Support provides annual operating support to established arts and heritage organizations throughout King County. Currently, more than 200 organizations are supported through the Heritage Sustained Support Program and the Arts Sustained Support Program. Applications and guidelines for each program will be available online beginning October 12, 2009.

I am writing on behalf of La Banda Gozona a band that has played traditional village sones and jarabes for the Seattle Oaxacan community for a number of years.
What makes a group eligible for your support?
We would flourish if we could get money for better instruments, more costumes for the dancers, and to pay our participants. Now we do it for the love of the music and culture but it is difficult financially.
