Accounting Manager


Northwest Folklife, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization based in Seattle, WA, is looking for an Accounting Manager who will be charged with the financial oversight and record keeping of the organization. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of the annual budget with staff input and executive director’s final approval
  • All financial record keeping
  • Monitoring the cash flow of the organization
  • Maintenance of the organization’s Chart of Accounts
  • Direct supervision of the accounting assistant
  • Responsibility for monthly reporting to the Finance Committee
  • Preparation of financial statements monthly
  • Preparation of departmental reports monthly or as requested
  • Preparation of materials for annual audit
  • Management of all aspects of Festival Accounting including supervision of the Festival accounting manager & staff
  • Execute payroll for both office staff and Festival employees
  • Preparation of quarterly payroll tax returns and business and occupation tax returns and reports as required.

The successful candidate will have the ability to see the big picture, and have excellent attention to detail, knowledge of MIP accounting software. At least one year of management experience and knowledge of non-profit fund accounting will be preferred. Northwest Folklife is an equal opportunity employer. Marketing & Development manager

 

Spectrum Dance Theater (Spectrum) Spectrum is seeking a Marketing & Development Manager to develop individual donor relations and implement marketing strategies. Spectrum’s mission is to Make Dance Accessible, without limitations, to The Community, through a dance training program and contemporary dance company.

The overall responsibilities of the marketing & development manager are:

  • In Development: to cultivate, solicit and steward existing individual donors as well as identify upgrades and prospects. The emphasis will focus on individual donors by face-to face interactions, phone calls and email.
  • In Marketing: to coordinate overall strategy of all marketing and communications initiatives which are designed to increase awareness of all Spectrum programs.
