
Warship Under Sail: The USS Decatur in the Pacific West by Lorraine McConaghy has been published by University of Washington Press with support from 4Culture and is on bookstands now. The author has announced a schedule of upcoming public readings and presentations in which she will discuss the key role the Decatur played in early Seattle history and describe the sailor’s life in America’s antebellum navy.
