The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation, in association with the National Barn Alliance, is hosting the Heritage Barn Conference to be held at the Marcus Whitman Hotel in Walla Walla on May 6-7, 2010. The conference aims to bring together those interested in the preservation and promotion of heritage barn sites in the Pacific Northwest. Sessions include: funding for heritage barn rehabilitation; stewardship and interpretation by agricultural heritage museums; and adaptive re-use.
