New work by ceramic artist John Taylor will be featured in a four person show at Northwest Craft Center, one of the oldest craft galleries in the United States. Started in 1963 after the World’s Fair, NWCC has provided a sophisticated and unique venue for craftspeople from around the Pacific Northwest for over 45 years. NWCC features ceramics, jewelry, glass, prints, paintings and mixed media work.

This sixty year print retrospective reflects the vision of Ed Essex and his many years as artist, printmaker, and art educator. Ed Essex’s prints convey the poetic allure of the Pacific Northwest’s natural environment, and celebrate the influence of the Seattle area’s culturally diverse population on his art and ideas.
