Annie Han and Daniel Mihalyo, the duo that make up Lead Pencil Studio, have recently installed their temporary artwork Windfall on the Theater Commons at the Seattle Center. The Commons is a new, sustainably landscaped pedestrian corridor that runs between Intiman Theater and the Seattle Repertory Theater. Han and Mihalyo have filled the space with chiming, cast-iron bells, creating an audio and visual environment. The installation will remain in place until September 15th. Meet the artists and take away a souvenir of the piece on September 16 and 17, but be sure to visit before then and spend some time in this newly refreshed public space. This project was funded by The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture’s Public Art program.
