4Culture helps arts organizations meet their infrastructure needs

4Culture announces $200,000 in Cultural Equipment Funding awards to 39 arts organizations in King County

Among the awarded organizations is the the School of Acrobatics & New Circus Arts (SANCA), a rapidly growing organization in South Seattle that seeks to improve the mental and physical health of children of all ages by engaging them in creative acrobatics and circus arts classes. 4Culture’s $6,000 award will help SANCA install a wheel-chair lift providing improved access to their new facility and upgrade the public restrooms to meet ADA standards.

Other organizations that received 4Culture’s fund include the Vashon Park District, the Seattle Center for Book Arts and Youth in Focus. For a complete list of fund recipients, click here.
