Attorney and software developer Michael Schneider will lead a discussion of important legal issues in the development and commercialization of interactive media products. Michael will discuss a variety of issues, including what intellectual property rights are involved in the creation and marketing of video games, and why it’s important for artists and developers to understand these rights and how to protect them. Also learn crucial steps that both the creators of video games and those who contribute to them need to take to protect themselves in the process of marketing and distributing games. Bring your questions.
