This Thursday Art Walk Awards returns bigger and better
April 25, 2011 at 3:09 PM

Join City Arts this Thursday at FRED Wildlife Refuge on Capitol Hill for the year’s first quarterly Art Walk Awards—and help choose the winner! The awards party will bring together people from art walks around the city to celebrate six finalists, one of whom will win $1,000 and a profile in City Arts magazine. Partygoers will vote for the winner.
The party will feature DJ Swervewon behind the decks and video projections by Dumb Eyes on 25 foot walls. FRED, if you haven’t been yet, is a mid-century photography studio converted to a gallery and party lounge. Doors open at 8 p.m. The event is free with RSVP to pro...@cityartsmagazine.com. Support for the Art Walk Awards was provided, in part, by 4Culture.
The City Arts editorial team and guest judge Greg Lundgren have selected the following finalists from a large pool of nominations submitted by businesses and galleries involved in Seattle’s neighborhood art walks. The artists’ work will be on display at the awards party.
