2nd Annual Lushootseed Language Conference
Saturday, April 30th at Seattle University

The conference features language and research resources, language immersion programs, national and local presenters. It is a unique opportunity for Lushootseed tribal language teachers and students to share resources and explore strategies for stabilizing the language and fostering fluent speakers in future generations. Also known as Puget Salish, Lushootseed is the Native American language spoken throughout King County and in much of the Puget Sound region. This event is presented by Lushootseed Research, a past 4Culture Heritage Special Projects recipient, and hosted by Seattle University’s Office of the President.
