Artist Open House for the Neptune Theatre

Monday, June 20 5pm – 8pm

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) invites area artists and arts organizations to an open house at the newly transformed Neptune Theatre. Built in 1921, The Neptune Theatre is the only survivor of five original University District movie houses from the silent film era. The venue has been transformed into a performing arts destination that will support concerts, comedy, film and community engagements.

STG will give tours of the facility and provide booking information, serve hors d’oeuvres and provide a cash bar. The Neptune Theatre is located at 1303 NE 45th Street (45th & Brooklyn) in the University District.

4Culture has a long relationship with Seattle Theatre Group and its three historic theatres, the Paramount, Moore and Neptune where programming includes a range of performances from Broadway, off-Broadway, dance and jazz, to comedy, concerts of all genres, speakers, family shows and film.

Over the years, 4Culture has supported STG with sustained support and capital funding grants. In 2009 STG partnered with 4culture’s Site Specific program to present Moore Inside Out, a dynamic evening of installations and performances in the theater’s interior spaces. We are excited to see the renovation of the Neptune Theatre and to celebrate with the community.

Please RSVP by June 15th with name and number attending
