The Northwest Railway Museum has an immediate opening for a restoration technician to work on the 1898-built chapel car Messenger of Peace. More information about the car is on the web at www.messengerofpeace.org. The successful applicant must have carpentry and finish experience. The project is completing the window trim installation, roof decking rehabilitation, end platform restoration, and will then shift to interior work. Prior experience working with the Secretary of the Interior Standards would be a huge asset. This is a 40/hour week position lasting at least three months and wage is DOE. Applicants must be able to pass a State Patrol background check because the Museum works with children, youth and vulnerable adults. Interested applicants should contact the Museum Director via email at richard@trainmuseum.org and include a resume and a good time to call. This is a nationally-significant project and a great one to have on a resume!

4Culture is a proud supporter of the Northwest Railway Museum and the restoration of the Chapel Car 5 Messenger of Peace.
