The Artist Registry has been updated, with new projects added to artist portfolios. We are proud of this comprehensive source of pre-qualified artists, ready to work on both private and public art commissions in the areas of Parts, Sites and Plans. Check out the freshness that is 4Culture’s Artist Registry Vol. VI!

As a part of our planning for the next volume of the Artist Registry, 4Culture is conducting a survey of Artist Registry users. Whether you are an administrator, artist, educator or just a fan, we’d like to hear how you use the Registry. The survey takes very little time and will help us make important decisions about the future of this resource. Take the Artist Registry Survey (and thanks in advance for helping us out).

The new Factoria Recycling & Transfer Station is a redevelopment and expansion of the existing transfer station, which was built over 40 years ago and has outgrown its current capacity. As an anchor in the regional waste stream system, the new station will continue to provide a full range of mixed municipal solid waste disposal and will also offer recycling services.

Al Price is a sculptor fascinated by motion. He is known for interior kinetic sculptures and recent public projects that appear to twist, turn, and locomote with the moving viewer. With each design, Price strives to deal with material and form in significant, inventive and economical ways. Price recently completed projects for the new Sky Harbor Rental Car Center, the Arizona State University Foundation and Valley Metro Rail, Inc., and is currently working on a sculpture for the new Minnesota Twins Stadium in Minneapolis. Price was selected from a short-list of 41 artists from the new 4Culture Artist Registry Vol VI.

The new 4Culture ARTIST REGISTRY VOLUME VI, a comprehensive source of pre-qualified artists prepared to realize both public and private commissions is now available.

Juried by a panel of peer professionals, each artist’s work meets rigorous standards of quality and expertise. Think of it as a collective, user-friendly portfolio that you can access whenever you wish. Here, you will find the right artist to help you create vibrant, inviting places that resonate with meaning.

Just as building projects are diverse and wide-ranging, so are the processes by which different artists work. To reflect this, the REGISTRY is organized into three categories: PARTS, SITES and PLANS. Rely on PARTS to implement small-scale projects, SITES for large-scale, wholly integrated works, and PLANS when you require art integration services. Each category presents artists who apply creative problem solving in ways that immediately enrich, challenge and excite.
